WHAT THIS ROLE ACTUALLY IS:
This is not a receptionist job.
This is a sales and operations role inside a high-speed auto repair shop.
You will:
Answer inbound calls and convert them into same-day appointments
Control the schedule with urgency (not convenience)
Present safety-first repair recommendations
Close work quickly and confidently
Follow up on declined work (next day, no exceptions)
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:
Calls answered by the 3rd ring — every time
Every call starts with:
“Yes, we can take care of that today.”
Vehicles checked in and moving within 15 minutes
You sell the first safety item fast, not full estimates
You keep cars, not send them away
You follow up and recover missed sales
HOW YOU GET PAID:
100% performance-based (no base pay)
Target: ~18% of total store gross profit (team-based front counter)
The more you produce, the more you earn
No caps
Translation:
Low performers struggle. High performers win big.
